Bryant and Stratton College Launches New Bachelor of Science Degree

12.22.11 Bryant & Stratton College announced today the launch of its first Bachelor of Science (BS) degree program in New York state. The College’s Albany, Southtowns (Orchard Park) and Syracuse North (Liverpool) campuses are currently enrolling students in the new BS in Health Services Administration degree program with classes starting January 11. Bryant & Stratton College has plans to expand the degree to more of its New York campuses in the future. Read more

Bryant and Stratton College Becomes OPOTA Training Facility and Announces New Career Offerings

12.20.11 The northeast Ohio campuses of Bryant & Stratton College are pleased to announce that they have been designated as Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) training sites. OPOTA, under the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission, provides training oversight in the fields of law enforcement, private security, local corrections, jail personnel, bailiffs, and public defender investigators within the State of Ohio. Ohio certified law enforcement professionals, including peace officers, corrections officers, private security officers, bailiffs, and public defender investigators are required to complete a set of basic training requirements at a state-certified training site. Job Hunting Tips for Unemployed Grads

12.11.11 The experts recommend that candidates target seven to 10 companies they’re interested in and once they’ve researched them thoroughly (company history, recent projects, job descriptions, etc.), they should be on the job hunt on a daily basis. “Dedicate at least an hour or two each day to your job search and set goals for yourself, such as researching two new companies, applying for one job and have a friend or parent run a mock interview with you,” says Christine Gaiser, career services director at Bryant & Stratton College Online.
