BRYANT & STRATTON COLLEGE DIGITAL DESIGN CONTEST
PUBLIC EXHIBITION & PROFESSIONAL JUDGING
TO BE HELD SATURDAY, MARCH 26TH

Buffalo, NY – Bryant & Stratton College will hold the public exhibition and professional judging portion of their 2011 DigiTalent Digital Design Contest at the college’s new Amherst Campus on Saturday, March 26, 2011, from 10am – noon. The contest was promoted through Western New York high schools and BOCES centers, and entry was limited to high school juniors and seniors. A total of 42 students from across the area have registered 91 entries for display and judging.

The competition includes both graphic design and interactive media design pieces in four categories: 1) raster images, 2) vector graphics, 3) desktop publishing, and 4) web page design. Independent industry experts will judge the competition and select the winners. There will be a grand prize for the “Best of Show”, plus 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for each category for a total of thirteen (13) winners. Prizes include a Bryant & Stratton College design scholarship, a flat screen TV, iPods, Apple Store gift cards, and USB flash drives. Every winner’s school wins a prize too.

In addition to the design contest activities, local vendors have contributed a variety of items that will be raffled off during the event. The college has arranged for radio station WBUF, Jack FM, to provide music and prizes. Free refreshments will also be available. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend!
